Head Chef and owner Norvin Acabo, with over 20 years of experience, leads this vibrant restaurant. His culinary journey began in five-star hotels in the Philippines and abroad, specializing in Japanese and Asian cuisines. His global exposure expanded during eight years on prestigious cruise ships and cargo ships, where he refined his skills and embraced diverse culinary traditions.
In 2015, Norvin was sponsored to work in Australia, a significant milestone in his career. After years of perfecting his craft, he seized the opportunity to run his own kitchen. In February 2023, Norvin took over Ongki Bowl, and with his vision for modern Asian street foods, rebranded it to Asian StrEAT.
