When we first came in America we had no idea what a French toast was or French fries or a French door, or even a French kiss. but, since we learned and we have now created our own version of the French toast: one thick slice of brioche dipped into our crème brulée batter, then cooked and caramelised. it is served with fresh strawberries and bananas topped with a fruit coulis (bananas and strawberries) and whipped cream
