The great German brewing tradition began before the advent of refrigeration. Before they were able to do lagers & Pilsners, the Germans did fine ales. This Altbier (or Old Style Beer) is brewed w/ four different malts & two separate hop additions to create a smooth coppery colored beer that goes down easily. O.G. 1.048, ABV 4.5%
