This is our salute to the embodiment of reliable home delivery in the mid-20th Century: the milk man. Like the profession it honors, this stout reliably delivers an extremely rich and smooth black brew with notes of chocolate and a hint of coffee. We used Irish stout malt, Special B, chocolate malt, roasted barley, and flaked oats. The addition of lactose at the end of the boil adds a pleasant sweetness. Milk Man Milk Stout is a collaboration between guest brewer Mike Gauthier and Confluence Head Brewer, John Martin.
