The New Baden General Store is a family restaurant with roots from 1884. Recently purchased by Scott & Karen Jeske and family, long time locals. The rustic appeal brings a warm feeling of community and gathering. The meal specials, such as Family Fish Fridays and Saturday Steak Night draws people from all over. We have the best Burgers in Texas that bring people back wanting more. We have PRIME RIB EYE STEAKS that will make your mouth water just looking at them. We sell peanut brittle from Hope House & specialty soaps from TLC farm. We believe that family has such an important impact in a person's life that we want everyone to feel welcome.
