Our annual celebratory blend, crafted anew from the year’s best teas. this year’s blend is rich, bright and floral with a bold briskness. this year’s anniversary breakfast blend started with second flush darjeelings. this is appropriate, since alfred peet had a penchant for these teas, and developed a great source for them that still supplies us today. we use darjeeling in several of our blends because nothing else has the complexity, brightness and fragrance that they possess. when you taste this blend you’ll notice the winy, floral aroma and lingering taste of specially selected lots from singbulli and sungma estates. we import these teas directly from the owner of the estates in india. also from india, we’ve included a golden-tipped assam tea that offers cup strength and maltiness to the blend.
