Mild and smooth with sweet flavors reminiscent of the tropical comfort enjoyed on the big island. available to ship once a week on wednesdays. for over 150 years, this region has been synonymous with the highest-quality hawaiian coffee. kona’s steep, volcanic hillsides and microclimate, with its sunny mornings and cloudy afternoons, provide the perfect conditions for growing coffee. there, coffee grows on both the mauka (toward the mountain), and the makai (toward the ocean) sides of the old mamalahoa highway. for this reserve coffee we select top grade, extra fancy, pure kona from a single estate on the mauka side of the road. to ensure freshness, reserve coffees are available in limited quantities, and roasted to order only once a week on wednesdays. orders must be placed on or before each tuesday and will be shipped within 24 hours of roasting. available in ½ lb. bags only. you can select shipment on a future wednesday upon checkout.
